Faith Formation for Children (CCD)
The Department of Religious Education is committed to
helping all to know the love of God through Jesus Christ
and the joy of celebrating that love as Roman Catholics.
Our goal is to provide a solid foundation so our
children and adults can express why they are Catholic,
what Catholics believe and to live their faith.
Faith is a lifelong journey. Whether it is for children
or adults; for those born and raised Catholic or those
seeking Baptism, the goal of all faith formation is
communion and intimacy with Jesus Christ.
Faith formation instruction is designed to introduce
disciples of all ages to knowledge of Tradition and of
Scripture; to have a full, conscious and active
participation in the liturgy and to live a life in
conformity with Gospel values.
This formation is the responsibility of the whole
community not just the priests, deacons, and catechists.
Parents, in particular, by their witness within the
home, are the primary faith educators of their children.
The parish of Saint Mark warmly invites you to deepen
your relationship with God through participation in our
faith formation programs. Click on the appropriate link
