Service Projects During Catholic Schools Week

We want to thank our families for their generosity during Catholic Schools week with the service projects to our community. Students collected food for our Outreach food pantry at Saint Mark Church - We gathered t-shirts and jeans for the migrant workers - we made cards and took them to the Seniors in Assisted Living and Senior Catholic Day care - cards for caring sent to the American Red Cross - we collected socks for those less fortunate - made shoe boxes with grooming essentials for Covenant House in Fort Lauderdale - made prayer blankets and sent them to the Schott center and also sent one to each of the children of the police officers that were killed last month. Thank you to Sister Connie, Pat Santos and Janour McCormick for attending our closing assembly. Our students really enjoyed their community service projects and have been motivated to do more for those in need.
